The users of Job Market Finland evaluated our content related to partial working ability and employment support

News

At the end of May, we conducted a survey in which we asked the users of Job Market Finland to evaluate the content related to partial working ability and job search and working ability support found in the service. User feedback is important to us, as it is the basis on which we develop our service.

Among the users who participated in the assessment were employers, the working ability coordinators of TE offices, and job seekers who need support in matters related to applying for a job or working ability.

Content related to partial working ability and job search and working ability support is not centralized at Job Market Finland, but related information can be found in the sections 'Searching for work', 'Career and employment', 'Unemployment', 'Recruitment' and 'The work community'.

Development ideas from users

According to the respondents to the survey, the content related to partial working ability should be available separately for both job seekers and employers and entrepreneurs. Information for job seekers can be found mainly on the 'Impact of disability or illness on work ability (partial working ability)' page. This was where users best found the information they were seeking, and they found the page most useful.

At this time, no such page exists for employers, but the content can be found more generally on the recruitment and work community pages. In the survey, a need was expressed for clear guidance to make it easier to find information on finding and hiring a part-time worker and the forms of support available. Similarly, according to the survey, people whose ability to work is impaired could benefit from more detailed guidance on how to act in the situation.

On the other hand, there were requests for pages focusing on only one topic. These pages could provide information on, for example, vocational rehabilitation and the related service path. According to the survey, some of the content is challenging to find because it is part of a larger whole. However, half of the users felt that the answers to their questions were well found and that there was enough information.

We continue to develop Job Market Finland

87 per cent of the respondents felt that the language used at Job Market Finland was clear and 75 per cent also felt that the content was easy to understand overall. In addition, the visual look and versatility of the topics on the service were praised.

According to the survey, finding content using the word search function was found challenging. At Job Market Finland, we have identified these challenges and are working to improve the search function as a part of our development work.

Overall, users were satisfied with having the opportunity to provide feedback and that we are doing development work based on user feedback and development ideas. We will tell you about the upcoming changes to Job Market Finland in our 'News' section.
