From 1 January 2025, municipalities will provide statutory services and subsidies for private customers, such as advisory services, employment training and start-up allowances.
No. Services will automatically be transferred to the new employment authority, i.e. your municipality, at the turn of the year.
Your services as well as your rights and obligations as a job seeker will continue as normal. This means, for example, that your employment plan will remain in force or, if you are in employment training, it will be carried out as agreed.
You can continue using Job Marker Finland’s online ”Asiointi” service to register as a job seeker or report if you have been made redundant.
If you do not have access to the online services, you can go to the employment services in your municipality.

In Oulu, you can still go to the current address (Uusikatu 52), where the employment services will continue to operate after the turn of the year.
It is possible that the advisor or coach you have been working with will change.
You can submit a contact request in the ”Asiointi” service of Job Market Finland. At the turn of the year, the services may be congested. Your personal coach will contact you as soon as possible.

No, it will not. Private customers will continue to use Job Market Finland's online ”Asiointi” service (formerly ”Oma asiointi”), where they can, among other things, register as a job seeker, report changes, approve an employment plan, and submit a contact request.
