Five tips for finding a new employee at Job Market Finland
Publish a job posting or browse job applicant profiles
A job posting is a traditional and effortless way to search for an employee. Submitting a posting at Job Market Finland has been made easy. You can also browse job applicant profiles posted by job seekers without publishing a job posting. By utilising job applicant profiles as part of your recruitment process, you may save time and money.
Search for employees internationally
At Job Market Finland you can also find job applicant profiles of international skilled workers. You can best reach these job seekers when you make a job posting in English and choose English as the working language of the job. This way you can find international skilled workers both from abroad and already living in Finland.
Send messages to anonymous profiles
Many people look for jobs at Job Market Finland using an anonymous job applicant profile. We encourage job seekers to focus on describing and highlighting their skills to promote fair unbiased recruitment at Job Market Finland. Be bold and send a message to an anonymous profile describing what kind of a job you are searching an employee for. This does not yet bind you to anything as an employer.
Save job applicant profiles and review them later
Saving job applicant profiles makes it easier for you to form a list of the most suitable job seekers for the position you are hiring for. You can contact job seekers easily through Job Market Finland.
AI helps you describe the competence you require

When you create your job posting in English, the number of potential applicants increases. These simple instructions help you attract skilled employees to your open positions around the world.
If proficiency in a language other than Finnish or Swedish is sufficient for the open position, you should create the job posting in English. Select English as the language of the job posting and write the job posting in English. Remember to also select English as the working language. Both the language of the job posting and the working language are selected at the beginning of the form. When you create the job posting in English, you will get the best possible visibility for the position both among international job seekers already living in Finland and talents living abroad.
In general, the recommendations for job postings in Finnish also apply to English job postings for international employees. In the job posting, it is advisable to give detailed information about the content of the position, the competence required for the position and what you offer to an employee as an employer. When attracting talent from abroad to Finland, you should also tell slightly more about the organisation and give a general description of the area where the workplace is located. You can use various marketing materials that present Finland when creating a job posting. They are publicly available on the Finland Toolbox website.
