Description and instructions for the Import Interface
Job Market Finland features an application programming interface (API) for an Interface User to transfer work experiences and skills data from another service to be included in the Job Market Finland jobseeker profile. The interface enables technical importing of this data.
The access right to the interface is tied to the organisation's business ID. Importing data from external systems to Job Market Finland is based on the user’s credentials.
Jobseeker profile data can be transferred, on a one-off basis, from the importing organisation’s service to Job Market Finland through the import interface. It is also possible to import jobseeker profile data in parts, but each import session requires a separate permit. Jobseeker profile data must be imported in the format specified in the interface description. Transforming work experience and skills data from an external service to the format required by Job Market Finland must be done in the external system. Job Market Finland will only accept data that the user provides a permit for and ignores other data. When jobseeker profile data is imported to Job Market Finland, they must be managed through Job Market Finland. Imported jobseeker profiles in Job Market Finland can also be updated through Job Market Finland, but these updates will not be synchronised to the original service.
Steps for commissioning the import interface
- Organisations interested in the interface must read the description, terms of use, and technical requirements of the Job Market Finland jobseeker profile import interface.
- The organisation commissioning the interface must submit the necessary information to the KEHA Centre with the commissioning notification form. With the same form, the organisation also commits to comply with the Terms of Use.
- The KEHA Centre will verify the organisation's eligibility and suitability to use the interface.
- After the verification, the KEHA Centre delivers the user IDs to the organisation implementing the interface.
- Commissioning the interface happens in two phases. In the first phase, the KEHA Centre provides access to the Job Market test environment and opens the necessary connections. Before access to the production environment can be granted, the interface must always be tested with the KEHA Centre.
- When the implementing organisation has tested the interface with the KEHA Centre, it can be given access to the production environment of the import API.
All questions regarding interfaces should be sent to tmt-rajapinnat@keha-keskus.fi.
