EURES services for employers

EURES helps with recruitment and promotes labour mobility in the EU/EEA and Switzerland by providing a comprehensive range of services and skills to support employers and job seekers.

EURES advisers

  • know the European labour market, help find a suitable destination country in Europe, and launch the recruitment process;
  • help draft job postings;
  • support participation in job fairs and promote the company's open jobs;
  • organise virtual recruitment fairs;
  • can prepare a preliminary selection of candidates for employers and search for experts in the EURES portal; and
  • advise foreign employees in matters related to migration and the Finnish working life.

Using the EURES network helps your company reach international skilled workers quickly and efficiently and recruit the right workers to support your company's growth.

The EURES portal is a recruitment tool that includes the European job search portal and a CV database. The portal is a place to advertise open jobs and browse CVs of job seekers. When you publish a job posting at Job Market Finland, you can also publish it on the EURES portal. Publishing the job posting in English gives it the best possible visibility.

As an employer, you can also log in directly to the EURES portal to browse job seeker profiles. For more detailed advice, please contact your local EURES adviser.

Through EURES advisers, you can post a job posting directly on the job search website in another member country of the EURES network and expand recruitment outside Finland's borders. EURES advisers help you select the target country. Please contact your local EURES adviser to start the recruitment process.

You can participate in European recruitment events together with the advisers or leave your job posting with the adviser who can then share it. Fairs are also an excellent opportunity to interview suitable applicants. Participation in EURES fairs is usually free, but participants need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

Contact your local EURES adviser. They can help you find the best recruitment events for your company.

You can check upcoming EURES recruitment events in the Work in Finland event calendar.

European Online Job Days are free online recruitment events. Events are often organised regionally or by sector. The events give you the opportunity to create your own pages to introduce your company and job opportunities. EURES advisers support you in these events.

You can also interview suitable candidates on the event platform during the event and answer job seekers’ questions in the chat. You can add an introductory video about your company to the pages and it will be shown as part of the event’s programme.

The aim of the platform is to bring together job seekers and suitable workplaces. Contact your local EURES adviser for more information. You can also find future national EOJD events in the Work in Finland event calendar.
