Integration databases

The KEHA Centre maintains a national monitoring system for integration.

The monitoring system consists of indicators for different phenomena. These indicators are based on register and survey data. The indicators are updated and reported on regularly. Most register-based indicators are updated annually, while survey-based indicators are updated every four years. The indicators of the monitoring system can be viewed in the Integration Indicators database.

As per the frameworks used by the European Union (EU) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the components of the monitoring system are:

  • employment,
  • educational background,
  • health,
  • living conditions,
  • participation and
  • societal receptiveness.

In addition to annual reports, the integration monitoring system produces a comprehensive review for each Government term. The previous comprehensive reviews were published in 2020 and 2024. The next comprehensive review will be produced in 2028.
