Comedyfabe and Big Brother Farid – Humour on Culture and Work Life

"Comedyfabe and his older brother Farid arrived in Finland in 1999, settling first in Lapland before moving to Tampere and eventually to the Helsinki area. Along the way, they’ve collected unique stories that highlight cultural differences, workplace challenges, and the realities of life as immigrants.

Comedyfabe worked as a parking inspector for the City of Helsinki for six years, but his creativity and humor opened new doors. Through his viral social media videos, he became a celebrated comedian and performer. Farid pursued an academic path, graduating from Tampere University of Technology. Today, he works as a mathematics teacher at the prestigious SYK, blending top-tier teaching skills with insights from his multicultural background.

At the opening of the Career Club event series, the brothers deliver a performance that is both hilarious and thought-provoking. Their show dives into cultural differences in work life, international recruitment, and the importance of multiculturalism.

Comedyfabe and Big Brother Farid promise laughter, insights, and fresh perspectives, all grounded in their personal experiences."

The show by Comedyfabe and Big Brother Farid will last around 30 minutes, after which there will be an opportunity to ask questions or share your own experiences of cultural encounters at work.
