What is FELP?

Participants work in multidisciplinary teams of approximately five people to solve a challenge provided by a company. The programme follows a weekly rhythm that includes team meetings and assignments completed between sessions. Throughout the programme, each team is supported and guided by a Demola facilitator who helps ensure steady progress towards the project goals.

The work takes place in Demola Hub, the programme’s digital workspace for collaboration, ideation, and project management.

The outcome of the process is a concept or prototype that can be further developed in collaboration with companies. The project can also serve as a foundation for launching a startup or completing a thesis project.

Future Expert Launchpad is designed for highly educated job seekers living in Oulu. The programme offers an opportunity to develop your skills through real-world company projects while gaining coaching, valuable professional networks, references, and even a potential starting point for your own business.

Demola and BusinessOulu are offering job seekers in Oulu the opportunity to participate in the Future Expert Launchpad (FELP) programme in autumn 2026. You can take part in Demola without losing your earnings-related unemployment allowance or other unemployment benefits.
