PerjantaiPulina - Friday Babble

Starting 12th of September 2025 “FridayBabble” brings together a multilingual community café every second Friday from 2pm – 4pm. The aim is to foster a place for community dialogue, based on topics relevant to life in Lappeenranta and South Karelia.

Local, international or local international, all are welcome to enjoy the free coffee, snacks, and engage in social dialogue in a cosy environment. Professionals will be invited to present different themes, answer questions, offer advice, and engage in the dialogue relevant to the topic. 

Themes will include topics such as:  

• Job seeking tips and tricks 
• Hobbies and interests 
• Entrepreneurship 
• Language learning  
• Local Lappeenranta secrets 
• Networking  
• Culture shocks 
• Organising activities and events  

Themes will not be limited to these listed however, as we aim to be flexible, responding to the dialogue and what is most in demand by you the community. Based on feedback we will aim to bring what matters to you the most, fostering a community where you can come with your ideas, big, small, or those outside of the box.  

You can bring your best tips and tricks for life in Lappeenranta, or you can come just to see what is happening and enjoy.
