The Competency Path is a new online service that supports career planning, competence development, and job search in various life situations. The service is intended especially for those who are seeking a direction in terms of education, career choice, or employment.

The Competency Path is part of the same service package as Studyinfo, Job Market Finland, and Opin.fi. Each service has its own role, and together they support learning, career planning, and job search as a whole.

The Competency Path helps you identify your strengths and interests and find suitable education and employment opportunities. The service also includes a separate section for those providing guidance and counselling, and an information service that compiles reliable and up-to-date information on the job market, education, and competence.

The Competency Path was opened in January 2026. The Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, the Finnish National Agency for Education, and the KEHA Centre are responsible for the service.
