Skilled workers for Kuhmo companies OSKU

The project aims to improve the availability of skilled labour in Kuhmo by developing workplace skills identification, recruitment practices and induction skills in companies. Through the project, the settlement of new residents in Kuhmo will be accelerated and their well-being improved by improving the city's settlement process. The project will develop cooperation between businesses and educational institutions in the form of work placements and thesis opportunities for students in different fields.

What you do when participating in the project’s activities?

Businesses can participate in training courses provided by the project to learn how to identify different skills and recruitment needs in the company;

  • company-specific development measures in recruitment,
  • assistance in finding new employees,
  • guidance on inward migration services for new employees,
  • tailored training pathways; and
  • professional skills development for new employees and company staff.
