Granting of financial support temporarily suspended in the employment area of Espoo and Kauniainen
Espoo will suspend the granting of financial support starting from 26 February 2025.
The suspension applies to the following forms of support:
- pay subsidy
- Espoo supplement for employment
- subsidy for arranging working conditions
- start-up grant
- discretionary expense allowance
- reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs.
- The reason for the suspension is that the money allocated for the purpose is mostly tied to support payments granted in previous years.
Espoo is currently investigating the budget situation. Previously granted support payments will continue as usual.
