Published job application profiles are visible to employers for 1-6 months

In the future, users of Job Market Finland can decide in connection with the publication of their job seeker profiles how long the profile will remain public, and visible to employers. The partner can choose a validity period ranging from one to six months.

When the validity period expires the job seeker profile will no longer be visible to employers, but it will remain in the service and can be made public again later.

Until now job seeker profiles that have been placed on Job Market Finland have been public until the user has gone back and marked the profile unpublished or deleted it from the service. All existing job seeker profiles have automatically been made valid for six months during the update on February 12, 2020.

The job seeker profiles that are published are visible to employers, and they are anonymous unless the users decide to reveal their identity, for example by placing links on their social media profiles.

In an update made in February, many changes were made to the trial version of Job Market Finland.
