The 'Making learning at work easy' material bank helps in taking into account learning difficulties and the diversity of employees

News

The Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment (Secle), has published a material bank titled 'Making learning at work easy'. It allows workplaces to develop a work culture where learning difficulties and the diversity of employees are taken into account.

In the material bank you can find information in Finnish about

  • what learning disabilities are,
  • why it is worth investing in learning support in working life,
  • how you can recognise and address learning difficulties, and
  • what kinds of methods and tools are available to support learning and work.

When employees' learning difficulties are taken into account and they are offered support, work flow, wellbeing at work, work safety, and productivity are improved. The right kind of support and appreciative encounters build an equal and diverse work culture that benefits everyone.

You can find the 'Making learning at work easy' material bank in Job Market Finland's 'Employee competency' and 'Competence development' sections.
