Information on recruitment subsidy has been sent to selected sole entrepreneurs

A random number of entrepreneurs operating in mainland Finland have been informed about recruitment subsidy for sole entrepreneurs in the weeks 33 and 34. The letters have been sent to addresses received from the Tax Administration.

Recruitment subsidy is aimed at sole entrepreneurs
The aim of recruitment subsidy is to lower the recruitment threshold for entrepreneurs, create new employer enterprises, and promote growth and employment in enterprises. The subsidy is granted to the entrepreneur based on a recruitment subsidy pilot.
The recruitment subsidy pilot is aimed at sole entrepreneurs and other companies that employ only people with an entrepreneurial position. A random group of entrepreneurs operating in mainland Finland has been selected for the pilot based on Tax Administration registry data. Recruitment subsidy can be applied until 31.12.2022.
The TE office sent a total of 31 000 letters. Recruitment subsidy is granted to up to 1,165 entrepreneurs. Recruitment subsidy is granted by the TE Office in Southeast Finland.
