Work in Finland International Recruitment Advice Service for Employers will move to the KEHA Centre from the beginning of 2025

News

Work in Finland's international recruitment employer advice service will move to the KEHA Centre from the beginning of 2025. The employer advice has helped employers with practical matters related to the recruitment of foreign labour and the relocation and settlement of employees. The service will be closed for the winter holiday break after Friday 20 December 2024, and will resume on Tuesday 7 January 2025.

Work in Finland has offered free international recruitment advice to thousands of employer customers during 2022–2024. At the beginning of 2025, the organisation of the service will be transferred to the KEHA Centre as part of the reform of public employment services.

Work in Finland International Recruitment Advice Service for Employers supports and guides employers in matters related to the recruitment of foreign workers, hiring and permit processes, and moving to and settling in Finland. The aim of the service is to lower the threshold for hiring foreign workers and facilitate the operations of employers.

– We would like to thank all the employer advice service specialists and the people who have been involved in developing, implementing, and supporting our service. Thanks also go to all those who have helped to spread word about the service and the opportunities it offers and promoted awareness of the service among employers. We hope that communication about the service will continue in the future, say leading specialist Roosa Tuominen and development specialist Harry Berg.

The service has received positive feedback

The advice service aimed at employers has been praised for its expertise, friendly customer service, and clarity. In the feedback, employers praise the quick and thorough answers to questions related to the recruitment of foreign workers.

– Warm thanks to all our customers and partners for a fantastic year! We wish you a relaxing holiday season and an inspiring start to 2025, continue Roosa Tuominen and Harry Berg.

Email address will change but phone number remains the same

With the change, the service's email address will also change. From 3 pm on December 20, 2024, the new email address is wif.neuvonta@keha-keskus.fi. The old email address tyonantajaneuvonta@workinfinland.fi will therefore be available until 3 pm on December 20, 2024. After that, messages arriving there will no longer be processed or redirected.

The service's phone number is 0295 016 770, and it will remain the same after the turn of the year. The service is open on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm. Please note, however, that the service will be closed for the holidays on December 20th, and will reopen after the new year on January 7th, 2025 at 9 am.
