Work in Lapland brings jobseekers and employers together

News

Many employees are again needed in Northern Finland for the winter season. Work in Lapland is a recruitment event for jobseekers and employers.

Work in Lapland will be held on 4 September 2024 from 11 am to 3 pm. The event takes place online, so participation is possible from anywhere. Work in Lapland is organised in English as a part of the European Job Days series with events across Europe.

Come work in the north

The goal of the event is to find employees for the tourism and catering sector and related fields for the winter season in Kainuu, Northern Ostrobothnia and Lapland. During the event, the participants get a chance to learn about what it is like to work and live in Northern Finland. Videos and interviews from employers will also be presented.

You can participate in the event by registering and creating a profile on the European Job Days website. Read about employers and search for jobs, respond to possible invitations for online interviews, follow along the day’s programme and contact employers in the chat.

Are you an employer in Northern Finland?

If you are an employer in Northern Finland, the event offers you the opportunity to meet and recruit jobseekers from all over Europe.

Work in Lapland is free of charge for employers. You can participate in the event by creating an employer profile and adding your open jobs to the European Job Days website. When jobseekers apply for your vacancies, you get access to view their job search profiles and CVs.

Work in Lapland is organised by EURES (European Employment Services).
