The subsidy for arranging working conditions is discretionary support that the TE Office can grant for procurements and alterations required by your employee’s work ability.

If your employee has a disability or illness that requires the purchase of work equipment, making alterations to the working conditions at the workplace or assistance from another employee, you may receive a subsidy for arranging working conditions. It may be possible to receive a subsidy for arranging the working conditions of both the new employee and an employee who has already worked for you previously.

The maximum amount of the subsidy for arranging working conditions for purchasing work equipment or making alterations is EUR 4,000 per person. If necessary, you can get full or partial advance access to the subsidy. If you apply for the subsidy only after purchasing work equipment or making alterations, you must do so within one month of the date on which you completed the relevant measures in your organisation.

A subsidy for arranging assistance by another employee during work tasks may be granted for a maximum of 20 hours per month for a maximum of 18 months. The amount of the subsidy is 20 euros per hour. The subsidy is granted on the basis of actual working hours.

If you are applying for a subsidy for arranging working conditions, submit the application form, a report on the need for the subsidy and any other appendices to the TE Office. Based on these, the TE Office will assess whether the subsidy will be granted to you or not. In its assessment, the TE Office will take into account your employee’s situation and the significance of the costs of the alterations in relation to your organisation’s financial situation.
