You can manage matters related to, for example, starting a job search, seeking unemployment security, and maintaining contact with employment officials in the E-services of TE Services, which will be updated in October. If you use Suomi.fi messages, you will begin to receive information on labour policy statements and requests for clarification as Suomi.fi messages.

Suomi.fi messages will speed up the flow of information

When you activate Suomi.fi messages, you will receive information on decisions made by the TE Services and the necessary measures you need to take. Please note that once you activate the messaging service, you can also receive messages from other official organisations electronically with the same approval.

If disruptions occur where the messages are not sent electronically, the messages will be delivered as paper mail. This ensures that you receive a message even when there are disruptions in the information systems.

Activation of Suomi.fi messages

For activating Suomi.fi messages, you need

  •  a personal identity code,
  •  a token for strong identification (online banking codes, a mobile certificate, or a certificate card),
  •  your own functional email address, which you regularly read, and
  •  the possibility to read emails when activating the service, as a confirmation message on activation will be sent by email.

Please use your personal email address which you check regularly for Suomi.fi messages, and not, for example, an email address shared by your family. If you need to change your email address later, you can do so in your Suomi.fi messages settings.
