Job Market Finland’s Sámi content reformed
Today celebrates the Sámi National Day, the purpose of which is to strengthen the cultural identity and communality of the Sámi, as well as to raise awareness of the Sámi people and the Sámi languages.
There are nine Sámi languages in total. Three of them are spoken in Finland: Northern Sámi, Inari Sámi, and Skolt Sámi. At the beginning of the year, we have updated and expanded the content of Job Market Finland in Sámi.
Job Market Finland provides information in Northern Sámi, Inari Sámi, and Skolt Sámi on e-services with the employment officials, unemployment security, employment services, and services that promote employment. In addition, you can read content related to careers, employment relationships, studying, internationality, and entrepreneurship in the Sámi languages.
Information published in the Sámi languages helps make Job Market Finland and employment services more accessible.
