The joint application procedure for higher education in the autumn begins on 1 September

If you did not get accepted to a study programme in the spring joint application, you can apply for studies in the autumn joint application for degree programmes at universities of applied sciences and universities starting in January 2026.
The joint application starts on Monday 1 September at 8 am and ends on Thursday 11 September at 3 pm.
The number of available degree programmes is smaller in the autumn joint application. You can find the range of study programmes on the Studyinfo website.
Don't forget separate applications at universities and UAS
Many higher education institutions also organise their own separate and flexible applications. In separate applications, you can apply for a degree programme by using its application form. In flexible applications, applicants will be selected based on their applications. The application period ends once a sufficient number of students have been accepted.
People who can apply in separate and flexible applications are typically those who have already completed studies in the field in question. You can apply to some degree programmes without previous studies in the field.
Application periods and methods vary. In flexible applications, application periods are often long.
