The popularity of the Regional pages on Job Market Finland, maintained by KEHA-centre, continued to grow in 2025. The pages received approximately 2.4 million visits. The Regional pages have established their role as a part of Job Market Finland, and the South Karelia Employment Area actively utilises its own regional pages as well.

The Regional pages are formed based on each municipality and employment area, and they provide information about local events, job opportunities, services, and training options.

During the last year, a new event calendar was also introduced on the Regional pages, allowing users to find employment-related events in their region. In addition, several new thematic pages have been published. These thematic pages compile information and services related to a specific topic, making it easier for users to find the most important content in one place. The Regional pages are continuously developed in collaboration with the employment areas, and the content is produced by a network consisting of regional actors.

The South Karelia employment region and municipalities produce information together

In South Karelia, we have already produced a good number of FSC (Finnish Service Catalogue) descriptions for Suomi.fi, from which services, service locations, websites, etc. are reflected onto the South Karelia Regional pages and the employment area’s website. The use of the event calendar has also become established. Regional visitor numbers have been monitored since September 2025, and during the last quarter of last year, the South Karelia Regional pages received over 28,000 visits. The most viewed information related to job postings, training opportunities, and service locations.

“The Regional page functions as a shared service platform for the entire region, serving both customers and actors. We continue to develop our common service ecosystem, for which the Regional pages provide a concrete tool. Our goal is to further enhance its use and increase the number of service descriptions, website entries, and service location information, while also continuing to monitor visitor numbers,” says labour market specialist Maria Laukkanen from the employment area.

Laukkanen encourages service providers and municipalities to get in touch without hesitation if support is needed for preparing FSC descriptions related to employment promotion. Assistance is also available for making existing descriptions visible on the Regional pages.
