Processing Times for the Payment of Support and Compensation

Start-Up Grant 

New payment applications for start-up grants are processed within 7 working days. Applications are handled immediately in the order they are received. Start-up grants are paid out twice a month.

15.8.2025, 29.8.2025

Wage Subsidies 

New payment applications for wage subsidies are processed within approximately 30 days. Applications are handled immediately in the order they are received. The subsidy is paid immediately after the decision is made and will be credited to the account within a few banking days. 

Discretionary Cost Compensation 

Discretionary cost compensation currently has a long processing time. Applications are processed in the order they are received. The oldest applications date back to January 2024. The delay is due to the large number of applications received by the UF Centre as a result of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the resulting wave of refugees. The compensation is paid immediately after the decision is made and will be credited to the account within a few banking days. 

Compensation for Travel and Logistics Costs & 

Compensation for Support for Special Arrangements at the Workplace 

Applications for compensation for travel and logistics costs, as well as for support related to special arrangements at the workplace, are processed within approximately 30 days. Applications are handled immediately in the order they are received. The compensation is paid immediately after the decision is made and will be credited to the account within a few banking days.
