Next week will see a programme of recruitment operating all over Finland: there will also be online nationwide events
The All of Finland is Recruiting event starts on Monday 28 October. The week-long event, which will focus on the personnel sector, will mainly consist of live and online events, although there will also be nationwide information sessions.
The All of Finland is Recruiting event will feature three nationwide webinars during the week. The webinars are open to everyone, and there is no need to register for them in advance. Participants can ask questions during the broadcasts.
The first webinar will mention various jobs being offered by companies in the personnel sector and how to apply for them. In the second broadcast there will be a review of the results of the Temporary Worker Survey. The survey looked at such issues as how easy it was to look for a job, how quickly work might be found and whether temporary agency work helps people to find new job opportunities in the future. The third webinar will focus on the working conditions associated with temporary agency work: pay, working hours, etc.
Besides the webinars there will be a TE-Live broadcast to discuss what it means for an employee that almost 3% of the Finnish workforce are in temporary agency work. The discussion will consider such matters as dealing with employment issues through a company in the personnel sector, completing applications and profiles, and the experiences that temporary agency staff have had of their work. Participants can ask questions using chat during the broadcast.
The online broadcasts will run 28-30 October 2024.
