What you do when participating in the project’s activities?
To participate
- 75 min career webinar,
- training on recruitment skills and employer image,
- follow labour market reviews and/or
- participate in half-day digital and distance skills training.
You will learn the importance of networking in both the world of work and the labour market - in terms of building, maintaining and developing networks.

The project is funded by the cities and municipalities of Oulu, Rovaniemi, Kajaani, Kokkola, Raahe, Kempele and Liminka. Of the universities and universities of applied sciences in Northern Finland, Optimum is funded by the University of Oulu, the University of Lapland, Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Kajaani University of Applied Sciences, Lapland University of Applied Sciences and Centria University of Applied Sciences.
The extensive cooperation project is also co-funded by eight trade unions from the Academy of Finland: the Association of Engineers (IL), the Association of Technology Academics (TEK), the Organisation of Teaching Professionals (OAJ), the Special Sectors of the Academy of Finland (AE), the Finnish Economists, the Tradenomites, the Union of Natural, Environmental and Forest Scientists (Loimu) and the Association of Social Sciences Graduates (YKA). For the Engineering Union, Optimum is also funded by Tietoala and all the northern regional associations, Oulu Engineers, Lapland Engineers, Länsi-Pohja Engineers, Kainuu Engineers, Raahe Region Engineers, Kokkola Region Engineers and Jokilaakso Engineers. Optimum's backing association is also supported by the Oulu Technical Society.
