The number of unemployed jobseekers rose by 26,300 people compared to November last year

During November, 26,400 new job vacancies were reported, which is 3,600 more than in November of the previous year. In total, there were 48,800 job vacancies in November, 4,400 more than a year ago.

At the end of November, there were 318,700 unemployed jobseekers in total, which is 26,300 more than a year earlier. However, the number of new unemployment spells started was 2,200 fewer than a year ago. These figures are from the Employment Bulletin of the Development and Administrative Centre for ELY Centres (KEHA Centre).

There were 133,400 long-term unemployed in November, meaning individuals who have been unemployed jobseekers continuously for at least one year. This is 30,800 more than a year ago. Of these, 66,400 had been unemployed for over two years, which is 13,500 more than in November last year.

During November, 26,400 new job vacancies were reported, which is 3,600 more than at the same time last year. In total, there were 48,800 open jobs in November, which is 4,400 more than a year ago.
