The operations of all TE offices will end on 31 December 2024 and TE services will be transferred to the employment areas consisting of different municipalities on 1 January 2025.
Services for jobseekers from 1 January 2025
Job Market Finland and Job Market Finland's E-Services will remain as they are after the change. Through the E-Services, you can, for example, register as an unemployed jobseeker, report changes in your situation and take care of other matters related to your job search.
You will automatically become an employment area customer from the beginning of 2025
Going forward, as a jobseeker, you will use the employment services of the employment area of your municipality of residence. Your customer data will be automatically transferred to the employment services of your municipality of residence and you can expect the employment services of your municipality of residence to contact you.
You do not need to do anything as a result of the TE services being transferred from the state to municipalities.
New employment areas in Uusimaa
Nine employment areas will start operating in Uusimaa at the beginning of 2025.
