Do you need help for finding a job or planning your future? Do you want to start studying or launch a business? The Service Manual of the Employment Services brings together information that helps you find the right kind of support in one place.
The new Service Manual has information on services for jobseekers on topics such as finding employment, studying and well-being. The services are provided by trusted institutions such as employment areas, wellbeing services counties, the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela), educational institutions and organisations. The Service Manual is in use in nine municipalities in the Uusimaa region.
How does the Service Manual work?
The Service Manual allows you to browse the range of employment services independently and explore the information available at your own pace. You will find out for whom each service is intended and how to gain access to it. The manual will also give you an idea of the kind of help you can get in your area to find employment.
The front page of the Service Manual offers options for you to choose one that best suits your situation. These include features such as: “My CV and job application are in need of updating”, “I need additional training to find a job” or “I want to change my profession”.
The search page for the services lets you filter the selection more precisely, for example by age group, by paid or free services or by the service language.
The Service Manual is an open website and you do not need to register to use it. You can access the website on your phone, computer or tablet at your convenience. The website is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.
If you find a service that interests you in the Service Manual, please contact your employment area via Job Market Finland’s E-services. The specialist assigned to you will help you move forward.
