The Job Market Finland chatbot Tarmo now serves users in three languages: Finnish, Swedish and English. The chatbot was introduced on Job Market Finland in May 2022. Tarmo was first developed in Finnish, and the content has now also been translated into Swedish and English.
Certificates and instructions among the most common questions
In 2025, Tarmo handled more than 70,000 conversations. The most frequently asked topics were certificates of job search, registering as a jobseeker, and instructions for submitting attachments.
Tarmo is continuously being developed. Conversations and feedback are reviewed daily in terms of both content and technical performance.
“We want to support our customers in finding information and using E-services on Job Market Finland, and the Tarmo chatbot serving in three languages is one way to achieve this. We continuously receive feedback from customers and develop the services on Job Market Finland,” says Head of Unit Kirsi Suovalkama from the KEHA Centre.
