Family day care counsellor
Family day care counsellors are supervisors of family day care providers in municipal employment relationships. Their tasks include guiding the activities of family day care practitioners, organising training for them and working together with parents and other parties. The profession requires early childhood education and care competence, interaction skills, leadership skills, and organisational skills.
Perhepäivähoidon ohjaajana toimiminen edellyttää laaja-alaista kiinnostusta lasten kasvatukseen ja hyvinvointiin liittyviin asioihin. Työ vaatii yhteistyö- ja vuorovaikutustaitoja sekä johtamis- ja organisointikykyä.
