The programs at Atlas Osteopathy School and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences follow international osteopathy standards.

Osteopath is a protected professional title. The National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira) grants the right to use the title to those who have completed an approved education and registers them accordingly.
