According to the regulations in the electrical safety sector, only persons with sufficient professional skills may carry out electrical and operational work in their field independently. The person in charge of the electrical safety sector (head of electrical work or head of operation) must have a certificate of competence covering the area of operation. The certificate of competency is issued to a person with adequate electrical training, work experience and a completed electrical safety degree.
